Multi-zone heat pumps provide the best of both worlds – the comfort of a central system and the performance of a wall system.

How does a multi-zone system work? Which model works best? Here’s what you need to know!

WHAT IS A MULTI-ZONE HEAT PUMP? | A multi-zone system is composed of one single outdoor unit, as well as multiple indoor units.

  • Each interior unit is adapted specifically for the room it’s in to achieve optimal comfort.
  • Multiple interior units can be combined within one residence to suit your heating and cooling needs.
  • Multi-zone heat pumps do not require a ventilation system and can be installed in less than a day.
  • Each interior unit regulates its own temperature independently of its counterparts, allowing every single zone to be set to the ideal temperature for its use.

THE ADVANTAGES OF A MULTI-ZONE HEAT PUMP

Technology | A multi-zone heat pump uses Inverter technology to modulate power levels as needed. Inverter technology works similarly to a dimmer light bulb. The unit quickly establishes the required temperature and modulates its energy consumption to maintain it.

Cost Savings | Thanks to Inverter technology, the energy cost savings are considerable. Without a peak of energy consumption, the system is very efficient as it functions at 50% or less of its maximum capacity, at the pleasure of your bank account.

Silence | The multi-zone heat pump is up to 40% more silent than conventional central heat pump systems.

Heating Efficiency | The heating capacity ans efficiency of a multi-zone heat pump are ideal thanks to a large heat exchanger and high-capacity compressor.

Guarantee | The high-performance Fujitsu multi-zone heat pump comes with a ten-year warranty for both parts and labour.

DIVERSE INTERIOR UNITS | Once you decide on a multi-zone heat pump, you can have up to four different zones or interior units.
